Goku and Vegeta decide to fuse to face Super Buu, who had absorbed several of the Z Fighters and become extremely powerful. The fusion is performed with the Potara Earrings, which is supposed to be a permanent fusion, but due to the magic within Majin Buu, the fusion ends when Vegito is absorbed by Buu.
